If you are a football fan, you probably have been getting ready for the Super Bowl. Great coaches continuously ask their players important questions to make sure that they park their egos at the door and think like a well oiled team machine! Group cohesion and effective communication are both keys to succeed.
Take the time to sincerely ask yourself:
- Am I the catalyst for more open and effective communication?
- Do my expressions convey respect in every way?
- Do I genuinely help others on their way without getting in their way?
- Am I a role model to motivate the team during good times and challenging moments?

Does your company have a wellness department or employee assistance program? If so, could you introduce me to the person in charge of purchasing resource tools for employees? I will send you the entire product line (books/journals/on line course) when you introduce me to the person who can purchase my products at bulk rate. Feel free to call me at 800.713.1926. Thanks!

Joyce, step four mentions motivating the team in good times and challenging moments. Do you have any advice on how to motivate two people to work as a team who have a strong dislike for eacother? Thier issues with eachother do seem to affect the workplace and all its team members as a whole. Even though there may not be a way to resolve thier issues with eachother it would be nice to get them in an agreeable state where they are ok with being scheduled at the sametime. any advice?!?

Abby, your question is so important and I’m impressed at how much you want your team to collaborate. I have 2 options for you.
1. Suggest that your manager/boss speak with both team members in the same room. Your boss will have to be VERY careful not to take sides and encourage the 2 people to speak without judgment and emotion. Just the FACTS
2. Suggest that your boss bring in a 3rd party to facilitate the 2 team members. A trained facilitator knows how to deal with conflict and resolve issues during a communication break down. Feel free to call me at 800.713.1926 if you want to discuss this with me.
I look forward to more questions from me! thanks.
