How to End the Revolving Door Syndrome Part 1

Are you ready to end the revolving door syndrome so your star employees stay at your company?

Do you hear your coworkers saying, “Our leaders are always in meetings and inaccessible? They don’t include us in decisions that affect us and our customers/members.”

Solicit coworkers for their ideas on improving the work environment. Additionally, ask for input on how your company can change inter-departmental relations and procedures.

Report your findings. As a result, watch how the changes can affect morale!

2. Use Positive Reinforcement to End the Revolving Door Syndrome

Good people are ridiculed just because they share constructive ideas. For example, suggesting fresh changes how to improve their department or company. Employees need to know that they can speak their truth.

Leaders must develop trust with employees. And, hear this feedback from everyone. In fact, this will end the revolving door syndrome – big time.

People need to give both positive recognition and constructive feedback to get good results. Good morale is built when people are told they’re doing a good job.

Additionally, they need to hear what they can do to do even better. Start writing appreciation notes for coworkers, employees, or managers. Above all, this small gesture works especially when someone took risks, calmed an irate customer, or attended a workshop.
