- Are you racing through life and unable to put on the brakes?
- Do you yearn for the feelings of freedom you had when you were a kid?
- Especially when you pedaled away on your bike?
Many people feel overwhelmed and are desperately seeking balance in their lives. Especially when it concerns the pressures of home and work
How can you regain that balance? What do you need to do to live the life you deserve?
Think back for a moment to your first bicycle experience.
- Who taught you how to ride?
- What lessons did you learn?
- Are you the same now as you were when you were little?
Let’s Get Started to Live the Life You Deserve with Two Important Strategies
We’ll have a better understanding of how to recapture those childhood feelings. Especially when we look back at the ways learning to ride a bike impacted us. And how as adults we can enjoy this ride we call life.
1. Go From Fear into Gear to Live the Life
To begin with, the first step in getting a more balanced life is overcoming the fears that hold you back.
Were you scared the first time you rode a bike? Probably. But most likely, your fear was soon outweighed by the incredible sense of accomplishment.
You may have even fallen off your bicycle many times. And each time you got back on and pedaled again.
It takes courage to face your fears, fall, and get up and try again. Above all this is the key quality to a successful life. In fact, you need to pedal on when stressful and challenging events occur.
2. Know Who You Are to Get What You Want to Live the Life
First of all, your boss wants you to be more aggressive. On the other hand, the PTA wants you to be more nurturing. And finally, your spouse wants you to be more compassionate. What and who do you want to be?
You need to identify both your values and the people who respect the real you.
Realize that success isn’t about achieving. In addition, it’s about becoming your authentic self. In fact, you know what’s right for you, no matter what’s going on in your life.
Above all, when you were a child, this authenticity came easily. If you wanted a purple bike, you didn’t care what anyone thought of it.
The same freedom of authenticity still holds true. Especially now that you’re an adult. You’re in charge! You can live the life you deserve.
Don’t settle for a bicycle built for two. Last but not least, you want a bicycle built for you.
